Easter

Easter this year was so cool, it was Kaitlyn's 8th birthday and a family get together down in the country. I can't believe my first baby is 8. She already seems to be a preteen and its too soon for that. She isnt a little kid, but she isnt an older kid either. Its that weird tween years I guess. She had a huge party with all her new classmates and brownie troop last weekend on April fools day. This is her first year at her new school and many of them showed up...about 20. They had fun playing in the foam pit, bouncing on trampolines and running wild. I loved having three coaches in charge instead of doin the work myself!

 Sara and the kids came down the next weekend for Easter and Kaitlyn. We went to Sunset Park and had a picnic at the lake by our house. Then on Saturday we went to Bucca Di Beppo and sat in the Pope Room. Kaitlyn loved sitting in the throne seat and being the center of attention! The food was delish. On Easter we went down to Cedar Lane just like we have since I was a little kid. There were TONS of family down there this year and it was awesome. 11 kids and 30 all together! It was Nana and Papa, PawPaw and Grandma, Uncle Clyde June Louis Stephanie and their kids, Aunt Cathy Christi Brandi and Jack, my fambam, Mom Dad, Sara and her kids, Daniel, Linda Kim and her kids, Shelly and Kayla and we went over to see Aunt Duchy Holly and Edith. We had a great lunch of chicken, brisket and ham and drank mimosas. Then the adults/kids hid the eggs for the wee ones while our parents sat under the porte coche and visited. The kids hunted for over 100 eggs and had so much fun! It was a great weekend.
